Video card help Non gamer

Trying to help a friend spec out some video cards. He is a non gamer. He wants to use the computer with 6-8 monitors. Yes he is a little nuts.

He wants Photoshop open in one monitor, Facebook, Twitter, some websites, watch movies in another, etc.

Since he wants so many monitors. I was thinking maybe 3-4 video cards in the computer.

Not sure if he should go AMD or Nivida. Was thinking maybe a couple of the GTX460 or 570's or something in the way of AMD.

He is going to have the 2600k as well

Any help would be appreciated.

Will that do 6 separate monitors? I thought it would just create one big monitor? I have not done any research on the Eyefinity at all.

Eyefinity 6 edition of AMD's Radeon HD 6870?

Eyefinity is definitely what you're looking for. I don't know exactly what you mean by separate monitors but you can use each monitor to display different things using Eyefinity.
