Video Card... Heat issues? Or what?

Look at my system in my signature...

When I play some games, I play for about one min. and then the screen goes crazy on me. It has colorful patterns of the colors that the game was just using. I try to ctrl alt del, but it does nothing. I know it isn't my monitor (new), PSU (Antec 300w). It has to be the video card because it has done this in two different machines. I always thought that if the vid card wasn't good enough for the game that I am playing, it would just have 10-30 FPS, not freeze up to the point where I have to hold the Pwr. button for 4 secs!

What do all of you think about this problem of mine? Is there anything that I can do? (I have the most recent drivers)

I've been told that it is heat that might be causing this, if it is, how could I cool it?

thanks a lot!

It sounds like you need to RMA the video card. I've seen several cards exhibit this problem and it's usually the memory going bad.
