I use pinnacle studio 9 for video editing. I am sick up the crappy graphics card I have and having transition scenes stutter through play back. I would like something that doesn't have to think twice about backround rendering. I currently do not shoot in HD format and don't plan to until more equipment is available and the price becomes more resonable. What would be a good choice without breaking the bank Say preferabily 100-150 but possibly up to 200 if it would be fesible to pull the card and transplant it into a next generation system.

BTW I have a tyan mobo s2466 tiger mpx that has a 4x agp slot and 2 64 bit pci slots? I don't know if anyone makes a video card for 64 bit pci.

What graphics card and CPU(s) do you have now? A GeForce FX series card (or higher) or Radeon 9xxx card (or higher) should be more than enough. I'd venture to guess that your problem is more CPU related though.
