Video card for PS CS5.1 extended

My friend doesn't game anymore and his wife uses Photoshop. Currently the computer has a GTS250 in it. If I were to switch it out and put a 9400GT 512mb, would I see a decrease in how smoothly the program runs?

*I would just do it and check but I don't have access to the computer right now.
 
It probably depends what she is actually doing with Photoshop, but since CS5 does use the video card for hardware acceleration it is entirely possible that there will be a noticeable difference.
