Hi Navid:
back from a 2 week work trip and I am happy to report that I solved my WatchHDTV problem by installing a no-thrill ATI 9250 128MB graphics card and disabling the Savage UniChrome Pro onboard video on my ASUS motherboard. I still can't get FOX but that's probably just a signal strength issue.

Thanks again for all the help!

Weirdness on my SFF build using a 5900FX card with the HDTV Wonder .. ATI MMC reports the card is incapable of overlay display, which I know is BS. I had the same card working fine in another rig with a Hauppauge PVR150 card in overlay mode. Swapping that out with an ATI 9800 Pro to see how that does. HD is stuttering, which indicates signal strength dropoff, but my main issues were the various ATI installs failing to work under Vista RC1. Currently, ATI MMC 9.14 craps out as soon as I launch it, so I'm using MCE in Vista to watch TV.

Just got my new build set up. Installed HDTV wonder, and everything is running fine. Channels look good, except for some that look "flakey", mostly channels 2 and 5. I guess its the signal strength, and will have to play around with the antenna.

Just reviving this old thread. I will have to play around with this some more and see what happens. Will post back later.
