Video card for 975X ATX Intel motherboard

If I get the Gigabyte 775 motherboard, it has on-board video.

If I get the Intel 975X mobo (without on-board video), what video card would work with this mobo? This computer is for my daughter, she won't be gaming or oc'ing - but does A LOT of photos and videos.

If you're giving your daughter an Intel Bad-Axe 2 so that she can look at photos and videos...I'm jealous.

Any PCI-Express x16 card will do in that board. You'll probably have to pay something like $30 - $50 dollars for a cheap card, though.

I would go with this:

Fanless which is great for video and should work fine on your motherboard. I have an 8800GTS on my Intel Badaxe 2 motherboard and I haven't had any problems on XP. With Vista, different problem although most of my problems are random IE crashes, ATI HDTV wonder not being detected all the time and Audigy 2 audio not always working.

any PCI-E (or PCI) video card works on that board. Just buy the least expensive one. ($20~30 would suffice) Only if you think about / have Vista, then as Laminator says you may need to spend $30~$50 or a little more if you want fanless.
