I just picked up a geforce4 TI 4200 video card off ebay and it doesn't have a fan on it. Can anyone tell me if it needs one? Thanks
 
Does it have a heatsink? It may be passively cooled with just the heatsink needed. If you still aren't sure or are worried that it's supposed to have a fan, just contact the manufacturer or look the specific card up on the web. If you plan on OCing, a fan is a must.
 
Yes it does have a heatsink and I just use it for normal computing, no games as of yet. I'll check with the manufacturer.
