Video card dying?

7900 GT, not sure how old.

There are different color pixels starting to appear on monitor, you can see them real good in a black terminal screen and somewhat in Vista but it seems to be getting worst over time

I have never had the experience of a dying video card so I am not sure if it is just the card or something else flaking out. Guess its time to test another video card huh

Yup, the card is failing. You're getting artifacts that will only get worse over time. Probably time to start looking for it's replacement. 😉

Is your 7900GT an EVGA one?

If it's just single pixels and they're always there and always the same ones, it's the monitor.
