my bro just got an ASRock M1695 Dual SATA motherboard. he also got a brand new harddrive, so i just did a fresh install of windows XP Pro SP2 32-bit. i installed the ULi integrated driver (2.20), made sure AGP and ethernet drivers were selected, rebooted when promted to, then i tried installing my videocard drivers for my 6800 GS AGP videocard (tried 91.31 and 91.33 beta) but half way through the installation, my monitor turns off, turns back on, but just has a blank screen.

can someone help me?

apparently, some AGP videocards need to have the "AGP deep fifo" setting enabled in the BIOS for the drivers to install properly.

i think the option is disabled, or set to AUTO by default and i built a system with this board and a 6600GT AGP before, and had no problems installing the drivers, but i had to enable it for my bros 6800 GS AGP.

btw, this option is not in BIOS revisions 1.5 and lower, but if you've bought this board recently or from now on, it should come with a later revision anyway.
