Why does the 6600GT 128mb have a higher core speed 525? The 6800 ULTRA 256MB the more expensive investment only has 425mhz speed?

the 6800 Ultra is better, more pipelines and a 256 bit memory interrface... just wait for the opinions of others tho!

but the 6800 U is like 3x the price so you might ewanan think twice.... or thrice...

The 6600 cards are based on a .11 micron manufacturing process, allowing them to reach higher clock speeds (Less power consumption, transistor enhancements). They have 8 pixel pipelines and 3 vertex engines.
