Video Card Check Before Purchase.

Looking at a solid card for Adobe Premiere, PS, and Lightroom (latter isn't as crucial, I know)...all CC versions. I stumbled upon this card as a balance of price, performance, and reviews, and was wondering what everyone thought? Any better options but at not much more of a price point? Suggest it! Thanks!

That's quite a lot to spend for Adobe software. Take a look at these benchmarks: http://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/articles/Adobe-Photoshop-CS6-GPU-Acceleration-161/

The 760 is between the 660 and 670 in performance, but you could spend less than 1/2 as much and only add a 5% to the processing time - I'd suggest something like a GTX 650 or 650 Ti, at about $100 and $130 or less, respectively.

I wouldn't recommend a 270X over a regular 270. It's basically the same card, just underclocked. Most 270s use only one 6 pin power connector.

I wouldn't recommend AMD for adobe if you use a lot of plugins, lack of support.
