Video card and mobo compatability

I want to put x700 which has a PCI x16, but how do I konw if the mobo can accomadate that?

P.S. how do I know how much power I need?

The only PCIe motherboard out right now are Intel boards. For AMD, they should be out within 2 or 3 weeks (nForce4). For power, the X700 is a pretty low-wattage video card so 350+ should do. I suggest 400 to be safe.

If you want a mobo with PCI-E now, look at boards based on Intel's 915/925 chipset with PCI-E x16 slots onboard. Otherwise, wait another month for Asus's NForce4 boards to hit the states.
