I have chosen a MB and video card and just wanted some thoughts before I order. This will not be for heavy gaming but will be used for dual screens. One screen is a 19' LCD AOC with DVI and the other is a CRT 19'. I already have a processor (AMD 64 X2), and 1 gig of RAM. Here are my choices but would be hapyy to swith if convinced. Thanks.....

eVGA 128-TC-2N27-SX Geforce 6200 LE
(this was in my price range and offers DVI and standard outputs)

Gigabyte GA-M55SLI-S4 Socket AM2 NVIDIA

This MB was a little more than I wanted to spend but I like the options it has and I wanted to go with a name brand.

One main question is will this combo be a sgnificant jump from this ASUS MB that offers on board video?

ASUS M2NPV-VM Socket AM2 NVIDIA GeForce 6150

I'd would guess that it would not be much of a change from onboard video, since the 6200LE is one of the weakest cards around.

I would suggest the XFX 7300GT @ $85 at newegg. 256 bit memory bus, 256mb memory, fanless.

That might not be much of a change either for 2d stuff, but in principle, it would smoke the 6200, and you could play a game with it if you needed to.

Actually, that integrated graphics motherboard would be a great idea. If you need to get better graphics for Vista or games, you can always add in a card later, and get cheaper too.
