Well if you run your games at 1024*768 most cards can do this no problem ,but when you throw in 32 bit colour, well I think you might as well get a Geforce2 GTS,since the Ultra is not worth the extra cost at the same resolution you will be playing in.Don`t rule out he ATi radeon as well. Why do you only play games at 1024*768 we that big monitor? if you will play games in higher resolution then the Ultra or NV20 will be worth considering.

At 1024x768 I would (and have, I'm buying it from TaylorD next week :D:D) go for a Radeon DDR. I'd choose it over the GeForce 2 GTS.

Check out Review Zone's Mega Video Card shootout. On page 3 there are the quake3 benchmarks. At 1024x768 the GF2 Ultra beats the Radeon and GF2 GTS (which are about even).

But the Radeon has many features that the GF2 lacks (EMBM and ATi's Excellent DVD support being my 2 favourites) and even at 1024x768 the framerates are high enough on all 3 cards you won't notice a difference.

If you want to move up to 1280x1024 you might want to consider the GF2 Ultra, up there the Radeon and GTS are borderline...but at 10x7 any of the 3 would be fast enough, my choice would be the Radeon.

Oh yeah, those graphs have the TNT2 as well so you can see how you compare to thse big boys. Depressing isn't it?
