Building a new PC around a Atlon 64x2 3800+ and a Asus A8n-E MoBo (no AGP, 2 PCI Expressx1, 1PCI express x16 and 3PCI slots)

I am no gamer and the PC will be mainly used for Photoshop (2 dimentional) and similar software. Looking for advice on a decent (and cheap) Video card.

Thanks, Norberto

Maybe look for 128mb X300 SE dell pulls in FS/T or on ebay. I have maybe 10 of them laying around, just too lazy to post them.

If you change mobo's you could pick up a NF4 with integrated video, and have an x16 slot. Otherwise the 6600,6200, x300 etc... will suit you just fine.

Since I no gamer and been using PhotoShop for the past 10 years, the FireGL cards are not recommended for gaming. The ATI FireGl is my choice and if you goggle it, it should come highly recommended for graphic work.
