I need help picking a video card. I just bought a new sc420 to replace my aging 6 year old computer which has a kyro II card. I am looking for advice since I know nothing about the current pci express offerings. I don't play many games but i do a lot of dvd editing. What would one recommend. Im currently looking at the x300 pcx 5300, pcx 5750, 6200 since they are all less than a 100 used oon newegg. Thanks for the help

out of those three, i'd definately go with the 6200. Its by far the best of the three, because it supports all of the new standards. It will be fine for your needs.

What CheesePoofs said. Plus if you get the 6200 with the turbo chache function it can use some of your available system memory for graphics.

I heard that the Nvidia cards has problems, because it sucks more power..

I just installed x700 which I purchased from Micro Center for $159.. it rocks..

just be careful when you cut the dividers, if you are installing PCI-E cards..

for less than $100 you can get 9600pro, which is a nice pick, also if you can spend extra $20 get the 9800se which is great for that price, and you have a good chance of unlocking it to 9800np or 9800pro settings.
