Hi,

I need a better card than I have now. My system is a P3 800 with 640 mgs of ram. I currently am running a asus gf2 32mg GTS. I mostly play EQ so what i need is a card for less than $100 that will give me the most bang for my buck. I have been looking at the ati 9000+9100 pro with 128 mg of ram. Are ether of these good choices? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

CM

The 9100 is better than the 9000. It has twice as many TMUs. Get the 128mb version, and you`ll be good for everquest. And the new one when it comes out.

8500, 8500LE or 9100 would be good choices. Be careful of clock speeds though, they vary greatly between manufacturers.

edit: typo :S

If you live in the US, got to Best Buys, go to one of their terminals in their tech department and order yourself a PNY ti4200 64MB video card. At check out it will show $79. Do this only if don't find any of them on their shelves.

Good luck!
