Video capture & sound from Radeon vivo

I can get the picture from the camcorder but how can I get sound? My camera's cable has a 2 connectors, one for audio and one for video at each end. The audio connector will not fit on the X-gamer sound card but the video connector will fit on the radeon vivo card. I'd appreciate any suggestions on how I can get sound.
