Video Capture Questions

I have jsut recently purchased a new camcorder, its nothing special.

What is the best way to capture the video on my pc?

are their many types of devices (pci, usb) to do this?

What are good decent devices to purchase that won't break me?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is that thing digital or analog? If analog, you need either a PCI TV card or a graphics card with video-in capability.

The new Leadtek TV2000 XP Expert model with the 10-bit Connexant Chip is excellent.

Very good capture quality, and the Software is extremely straightforward.
