Have some 4-5 minutes of video each in seperate files.

I can not distribute them due to size. Mail/text limited to 25mb.

I do not mind slicing/dicing them into chunks and let the recipients glue back together.

There is a Movie Editor on phone that allows trim. But I am concerned that the excess will be discarded.

Any recommendations either using the phone or using a desktop (adding that I can transfer files) to slice. Or free site to drop files in whole to be collected by others.

Why not upload it to YouTube. You can limit it to specific people who can view the video by providing the link.
I've done it up to a 2GB 1080p m2ts file and it looks very good indeed.

Agreed, YouTube is probably best for sharing. But there are plenty of Movie editing software on the phone out there to do simple cuts

So just create an account with YouTube. Upload the videos to it and send the link to those that need it.

I do not need it to be restricted.

Thanks.

The concern about movie editors on the phone us that I might lose content, no real backup.

/edit

The YouTube route was easy; The YouTube link with Google made it painless
