Video Capture doesn't look to good.

To be 9gb for 47mins my DV capture doesn't look good at all. Could be because I have a low end camcorder. Is there another format or something I can capture to, to cut down on file size and still keep about the same quality? Is so what and what settings?

Am using Nero Vision.
