I have digital cable, and want to be able to use my digital receiver with my capture card. I want to try and build a MythTV box under linux. Do any of the hauppage or any other video4linux cards have an option for an IR dongle?
I am currently looking at a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 500 MCE for its two tuner functionality, but it doesn't look to have any IR functionality. I do not require a two tuner system, as a single tuner would work as well.
I searched and could not find much information on the ir dongle functionality. I apologize if this has already been asked. Thanks for any input.
