Hey Guys

Not a video card expert, but I need advice on the best or a better of the video capture cards. I want to hook up my DVD player to it and capture clips from movies and things with my computer. I have a newer machine with a Pentium III 933 an Asus CUSL2 and 256mb of SDRAM, So a little advice would be helpful.

Thanks

If you want a good gaming card too, the ATI Radeon 64 VIVO is great. It can be had for under $200 too.

Not really looking for that, just for a card that caps video fresh from a DVD player.

Thanks,

for video capture, DO NOT GET A RADEON. It's great for games, but does not dupport video for windows. I have it, the capture aspect of it blows.

The All in Wonder RADEON is the BEST video capture card out there, are the words that I once though I would be saying by now. Unfortunately RadioactiveCPU hit it on the nail, it deos blow and sux as a direct capture video card. The driver-impaired idiots at ATI are probably following the orders from brain dead lawyers that are in collusion with Microsoft.

My opinion. here.
