I need some recomendations for a video capture card. It can be PCI or USB 2.0 or Firewire.
I am looking to take some shows off my cable system's DVR. It would need to have S-Video or Composite or Coax.
I would also like to turn some VHS into DVD.
The system I would use is a Shuttle XP w/ Nforce3 250 chipset, 3700+ Clawhammer, 1GB memory, 6600GT, onboard sound, and DVD burner and Windows XP Home.
The most important thing to me is the quality of video produced and burnt to DVD.
I don't plan on watching TV on the computer, so that is not that important.
Also, what are some good software recomendations? Free is better, however, I can pay for it if there is a really good one out there.
To list the important things:
1. Quality
2. Compatability
3. Price
4. Included Software
5. Space required (if a usb or firewire solution)
6. TV Tuner
7. FM Tuner
Thank you for your suggestions.
