If Bush hadnt placed people in harms way we would never have this question asked.

It was an animalistic act. If some father had tossed their kids in with a bunch of child molesters, the suffering of the child would have been caused by those who caused the act.

That's real smart on their part. I can only imagine the thought process

"Gee Hassan, what shall we do to get back at the Americans for slapping around a few prisoners?"

"Good golly Faruk, I cannot imagine what we should do. Perhaps we should behead them, that seems reasonable."

"Indeed my friend, that is a jolly idea. We must proceed at once, that will teach the Americans not to mess with us."

If this is true and gets shown to the American public there is going to be hell to pay. Sure a few of our guys/gals messed up and mistreated to prisoners, but beheading someone is not nearly in the same league as slapping someone around or taking nudie shots of them. If they were trying to scare us off or pay us back in some way they just made a BIG mistake.

If this video gets airtime in the US, it will be the savior for the Bush team. Rumsfeld will come out a winner. No doubt.

Sadly for the group of debris that did this that is entirely true. However it is important to remember that not all Iraqis/Arabs/Muslims act in this manner. Just as the vast majority of the U.S. Military would never be involved in prisoner abuse neihter would the vast majority of Muslim's behead an innocent civilian. The scum that did this are just that, scum. They do not deserve to be called human because it is obvious that they are somewhere further down the evolutionary scale than that.

Saying something like that only lowers you to the same level as the scum you want to kill off. Yes, they need to be dealt with but "killing them all and let Allah sort them out" is an asinine attitude to take.
 
IF true, then it will allow the military to take the gloves off. Normal conduct and playing nice will have been shown to not cut it.

HIs name is Nick Burg, fox is showing part of the video 🙁 The statement the militant make is one where they were asking to trade Nick for some of the prisoners at Abudai (sp?) - the Military refused, and this was in retaliation (according to them).

That's too bad. I normally watch Fox News, but if they show the full video I will be very disappointed in them. That's just in poor taste.
