I wonder if Prince has any crappy songs, cuz they'd make great soundtracks for your movies.

Lover, you gotta stop teasing me about my movies in forums that have nothing to do with them! We should keep that energy for later, big boy ;)

Are you a top or a bottom?

Depend's on Tim's mood... PowerMac's the nickname he gave my.. oh, never mind..

your what

you WOOD like to know, wouldn't you? Sorry, puns are not my forte.. Making sweet love to Powermac's face though.... :D

Hmm, "PowerMac" must be the nickname you gave to These two guys. It makes sense... they probably own your ass like I own your threads on atot.
Edit: make a movie about it lol

Cool to see a Prince thread on ATOT. I'm a huge fan and spend a lot of time on his music club forums as well. Prince is underrated in many ways, guitar being just one. He plays nearly every instrument and has since a very young age. He's an innovator and Prince has been anti-RIAA since before it was cool to be. I love the new album, but I love all his albums. Also, one of the greatest live shows, catch the Musicology tour at a city near you. If you think it's a comeback, you better ask somebody, 'cuz Prince was here in the beginnin' and he'll be here forever more. Freezer-burnt compared to cool. Ask me about Prince, I can tell you.

I only own Purple Rain (cost me 7 bucks!) and his new one - any others worth picking up? Of course you'll say all of the (any true fan would), but what's the next album I should get?

When you say you have the "new" one (Musicology), I'm kind of surprised, since it doesn't come out in stores until the 20th of this month.

As far as recommending an album, that's a tough one. Prince's music spans a variety of music types, and there's a lot of variation between albums. Sign O' the Times is what many people call his creative peak. It's a two CD set of good stuff. The Batman album (soundtrack to the first Batman film, all music by Prince is good). Of there's always the greatest hits sets, if you want a sampling of several albums. Two of my personal favorites are "The Gold Experience" and the "O(+>" album (known as the symbol album). "Dirty Mind" and "Controversy" also rock. Most of the late nineties stuff is what you ought to stay away from, but "Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic" is an exception. Enjoy, welcome to the dawn!

Diamonds and Pearls one as well as 1999 one

I knew he was a good guitarist, but had no idea he was that good.

I can't believe he made it into the Hall of fame considering he hasn't had a hit in 15 years. His only success was Purple Rain and then it was all down hill.

PS: Yes he can play guitar but he is no Jimi Hendrix !!!

Going to see him in Minneapolis on the Musicology Tour, from what I have heard everybody going gets the new cd at the door too, but don't quote me on that.
