Video all kinds of screwed up.

The problems started about a day ago, any time I sit in a resolution for a long period of time, the video gets screwed up. When i change resolutions, it fixes itself. Sometimes when I change it back to the previous resolution it still has the corrupted images, sometimes not. Its hard to give an example of how the image is distorting, but it almost looks kinda like how video looks when outputing it to a TV only without the skipped lines being smushed together.
if this is a normal screen:
------------------
------------------
------------------

my screen looks more like:
-----------------------

-------------------------

----------------------------
with thin black lines in the larger gaps.

I'v reinstalled video and monitor drivers, i'v ajusted settings a few times. My monitor has an option in the menu to change it from .7v to 1.0v(what does that do?) I changed it to 1.0v and that didn't help atall.

I'm on windows XP currently with a PNY GeForce3 Ti200, my monitor is a Samsung SynchMaster 955df. Does anyone have any suggestions? This is really starting to become a hastle :\

p.s. I changed resolutions before starting typing this and it just did it in the time it took me to type the message out.

are you OCing your vid card?

have you set everything back to "regular" to see if it goes away?

when you go to settings-->advanced-->adapter and click list all modes make sure you arent running some odd interlaced mode. If your trying to run at a res your card doesn't like and have it interlaced then you might get this result.

Also, try and run at nothing lower than 70Hrz and see if that will fix anything

Yup, I tried to change all settings back to factory default, rebooted and still had the same problems. I'm using the 60Hz refresh rate fix, the video mode i'm running in usualy is 1280x1024 True Color at 75Hz
I'v tried it with it set to 70Hz aswell. Before using the 60Hz fix, the screen would vibrate at a high frequiency that gave me a headache but no one else seemed to notice. *shrug* I'v got it plugged straight into the power jack in the wall right now. I was thinking that it could possibly be an issue with the surge protector, but no go. The thing that really throws me is how it skeqs the image, its like one line gets shifted far right then it skips a line w/ a thin black one then takes the next line and shoves it to the far left. I'm hoping its not a hardware issue, but i'm running out of software solution ideas.

Oh, I also updated the drivers to the newest ones on the nvidia site, it seemed to make it better for a few hours, then it went all wonky on me again.
