Video Adaptor/Box/Thing.....

Hey guys, I am going through the monitor shuffle at home and I was wondering if you could reccommend a unit that would allow me to use an older 15: LCD monitor as a standalone TV.

I have a cable box, all I would need would be a signal converter and a speaker so I could hook the cable up to it.....


Any advice would be helpful.



(PS, attaching an entire system to the old monitor is not practical, given the locaction of the set (kitchen)).

a few companies make tv tuners to hook to a monitor. I know viewsonic makes an ok one

I heard about the N4 and N5 and the like, but I have also heard of others.

I just wanted to get peoples opinions of them before I shelled out $75-$100....
