I have made the change from 2000 ---> XP, and this has caused TREMENDOUS driver issues over my voodoo5.

So I'm quite sick of looking for 3rd party drivers or solutions, and NVidia will cut off its own leg, before making drivers for Windows XP....

In the end, I'm looking to get a new video card. Clearly Geforce 3 is in the picture, however the price isn't, and anything over 150 is really too expensive for me.

I'm looking at the Geforce 2 Pro's (I assume that's a better choice than the Kyro II's), and I'd like to know what is the best Geforce2 Pro card out there that has good 2d and 3d quality.

*Note* I am not really looking for overclockability, as my case cooling isn't the greatest in the world. And I'm really looking for a good 2d quality geforce 2 pro card.

I'm actually debating between the MSI and the Gainward one, after perusing newegg.com. I'd love to hear suggestions. Thanks guys!

The general consensus is that Gainward has better 2D image quality than MSI. My Gainward GF2 MX never had any 2D image quality issues.

Are you saying the Radeon is not a good gaming card? I can play almost any of the newer games @ resolutions of 1280 X 1024 x 32 and up with all eye candy on with no problems on my Radeon. Will the GF3 have better framerates...of course, but the Radeon is a very nice gaming card for most people. :)
