Maybe its just me but when you get older stuff like this effects you more. I guess that the person doing this has no comprehension that they just ruined this kids day/week because they thought it would be funny.

Unfortunately the adults who witnessed this probably hate us more.

The kid will get over it. He knows the water was his and if he didn't get it then it was because one of his own stole it from him.

And the people who would hate the USA more for this are never gonna like us anyway. They could've not even given the water. It was all innocent enough.

That's pretty f***ed up

And to people who would say the poverty in Iraq is their problem, that's fine, it WAS their problem, until we invaded to 'liberate' them.

I think it was a joke gone far, its well known kids go running off at running vehicles, and the soldiers were playing around. You morons deliberately choose to interpret everything you want in such a negative connotation, I'm going to have to ask you to remove yourself from the gene pool, lest the stupidity spread.

Yep, because this is entirely representative of everyone over there.

Yeah no kiddin' - every dumbass racist bastard that represents maybe a few percent of the military gives the whole military a bad name. Granted, soldiers by nature probably need to be crude to remain sane, but I know plenty of guys who aren't like that.

I also love the anti-American propaganda - sure we had a screwed up administration for the past six years, but we've voted to end that. To say "you Americans" is to ignore the fact that the American population is probably one of the most heterogeneous in the world - so stop lumping us all with the fringe lunatics who are a disgrace to humanity :disgust:

Those kids might have been militia members! ..... Besides, the desert children can store water in their fancy clothes. Like the Fremen. They have these underground koi ponds... really its quite nice.

Nose in the air, much? Those men have more balls than you ever will, leaving their families for years at a time to fight for a single cause. And what do you do?

go fvck yourself

I've seen many worse vids than that. No one died, no one was injured. The soldiers got a good laugh and a few kids got disappointed and out of breath. It's not exactly a bind boggling atrocity or anything.

That was hard to watch, to see the representatives of our country teasing young children. :(

I agree. Those soldiers should be charged and punished.

LOL.. charged and punished for what?! teasing some kids?

Fvck.. those kids looked like they were maybe 10-12. I bet you'd get the same reaction holding up a candy bar.. or pack of gum.

Kids here run after the ice cream truck.. even if they don't have money.

...or nothing in particular...

They like asking for prescription glasses or the pen I'm writing with...

Which is why I always carry several extra pens to hand out :)

It was mean. Not the end of civilization though. I have done worse to my brothers. That one kid was going the distance!

i can't imagine all of you defending that ass of a soldier. he surely doesn't represent the entire US armed forces, but surely he should be disciplined. don't they have more important things to do than making kids run after a bottle of water and making a video out of it?
