Vid card for HTPC

I'm looking for something for a Dell Optiplex 745 standard mini tower we have that we are going to use for HTPC.

Is there something that is cheap, has passive cooling (no fan), CUDA, and has HDMI out with audio? If HDMI with audio isn't really available for cheap then how about HDMI out? ....well i suppose if it HDMI with audio isn't going to happen then it could be DVI with DVI->HDMI cable I guess.

A Geforce GT610/20/30 should fit perfectly. There are several available with a passive heat-sink. An alternative might be a passive HD6450. I believe I have seen some with passive cooling.

Any particular reason why you need CUDA? If not then a passive HD6450 is a good choice.

Actually i'm not sure for this machine's use if it needs CUDA. I use CUDA on mine for x264 decoding and can't remember if helped with internet video in web browser or not. After my HTPC I just made it a standard req. etc.

You should be able to use LAV filters to get DXVA acceleration for any modern GPU, even integrated Intel from Sandy Bridge onwards.

Man want green, so give it to him!
Red is for Rednecks.
I saw somewhere nice HTPC rig with SLI titans. Highly recommend that! It supports all kinds of CUDA
