Hey guys, could use a little advice here....
The fan on my Inno3D GeForce2 TI crapped out on me recently. Once i noticed the problem I shut down immediately and haven't turned on my computer since. I'm wondering a couple of things. First, is it safe to run the computer as long as i'm only using Windows (ie no gaming). And Second, how would I go about changing the fan on my vid card? It seems like its attached by two plastic tabs through the pcb. I'm sure there is a site out there dealing with this for overclocking, but since my computer access is severely limited right now, I can't spend time searching. If anyone could give me an idea or give me a link, i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your help.

if the card came with a fan, it definatly needs it.

my ti4200's fan went out months back, i have since then replaced it with a thermaltake G4 cooler. i recommend one of these. ur GPU would be rather hot without the fan. i'm estimating around 60 - 70 degrees C without the fan. definalty replace it!

my ti4200 is a asus video suite version and it came with a temp diode. using asus smart doc i can see how hot it's running. windows (2D) mode it heated up to 60 degrees C and went up to 70 in around 15 mins of IE browsing. for gaming... running UT2003 it was @ 89 degrees...
