Vid card cable pinouts

Hey guys,
I'm using tecs for a custom watercooling loop and have an 8pin vid card connectoin available. The PSU I'm usung is a PP&C 610. I've already determined that the load on this PSU should be acceptable but need to clarify this point of wiring in my head.
My question is this, of the 8 wires, 4 black, 4 yellow each of the 4 come from the same source, correct? meaning if I joined the 4 of each I'm still looking at 12v pos and neg with no detriment to the PSU, flames explosions or otherwise?

Yes they are from the same source but you still need all 8 wires for as long as possible to carry the current. That is why they did 8 wires , to do it with less would need 2 much larger wires. Connect the device as close as possible to the 8 wires.

Exactly what I needed, thanks. Here is what I'm playing with. The tecs will run in series switched on a relay controlled by a thermostat I've cobled together. From the end of the eight, through the relay to the tecs won't be more than a few inches of #14 wire similar to what is on the tecs. Should be interesting.
