That's how it is you know, in the brave new world, I post an article pointing out a fact that's printed only in a newspaper, but because the newspaper is physical only and there's no either free or pirate scanned version of it on the web that I could find, and the article can't post it because of copyright law, then the whole thread and the article is treated as discredited and I get punished for it, but ofcourse if you're a nazi sympathzer and a flaming racist you get ADL awards and forum immunity cards.

Wow, the strawman is strong in this thread.

Anyway, I remember playing with Lego guns in grade school that were *gasp* provided by the school! We'd play pistols at dawn with legos! Oh the horror!

Only one person at my high school afaik has killed anyone and he didn't use a gun.

Did we dodge a bullet or maybe toys aren't quite as scary as people make them out to be.

You think they are stupid or trying to create a culture of guns are gross to ban guns down the road once these kids grow up and can be guns gross voters?

I never assume anyone is stupid and look deeper when i see stupid. I could be wrong.

No, you are 100% correct! Our children are indeed being, *groomed*, (brainwashed/indoctrinated if you will). I recently received a lecture on the evils of guns, and my big work truck from a clients 4 year old. On more than one occasion a kid will go into a fit of fake coughs when they see me smoking, even though I'm on the other side of the street. Oh and liberal arts in college? LOL, it's ALL liberal.
I think you also have a handle on where this will lead, and it's coming sooner than you think.

This is horrible.

So many pasty shops that specialize in gun shaped baked goods will go out of business now,...

I'm not sure what's more stupid, the OP's insistence that infowars is a valid news source or the fact that the Florida legislature passed a bill like that.

So you are in agreement with these "zero tolerance" laws/rules that insist shit like kids accidentally bringing very small and absurdly obvious toy guns, like a yellow ass nerf gun that shoots orange foam darts, should be expelled?

Umm, if the news is true, then isnt it a valid news source?

Go take a look at the infowars website and tell me exactly how much of it would be considered real, valid news, and get back to me.

No. However, I also think it is asinine that instead of fixing the real problem in "zero tolerance" policies the FL legislature is simply putting a tiny band-aid on it and making themselves look dumb in the process.

Pretty much 95% of it. Infowars continually breaks news weeks before the mainstream media, sometimes months and years. I just didn't had the time to post the illegals being allowed to cross the border story, it started like a week and a half, but you only got it in FoxNews a few days ago, a week later.

Fox News continually "plaigarizes" from Inforwars without crediting. But AJ doesn't mind it as long as the news is at least being reported by others.

Snowden only provided the name of the project and real hard documents, but also the major media explosion, however we knew about the NSA spying details more than half a year before the mainstream did, there were several whistleblowers before him, alternative medias as well as RT or RussiaToday also reported about it at the time and had lengthy interviews.

It's not really him saying that. It is a psyhological defense mechanism, some people have it more pronounced some less, but for the general public this is something normal, as they are living in their perception of the world most of the time, the subconsciousness is aware that things aren't going great economically, everyone can sense with various ability when the times are bad, but they do not admit it openly because humans always want to create a positive life, those that are not mutated mentally ill inbreeds like the royalty is, however consciously the brain is trying to cope with the negativity by using techniques to escape it, one of these ways is active denial, to downplay the thoughts that challenge it's status quo, wether it is the truth or not, in a desperate effort to restore positivity, although false.

This behavior is only for those ofcourse who have been fed false information and psyhologically abused most of their life. A man that was born into reality and taught actual laws, history, manners, survival skills, etc will be more likely to not suffer from any psychological defense mechanism when the mind encounters a shocking and revealing piece of information that may be out of their daily standard awareness level.

It's not only active denial defense mechanism, it is a combination, for example the information shock itself may be the cause, the information shock happens when a person is heavily confused to the point of cognitive malfunction, when encountering information that requires an awareness index that is many levels above their standard daily awareness index, they don't have enough other pieces of information in order to have the awareness required to understand that piece of information.

But the funny thing is, that this active denial sideeffect of the psychological abuse and low awareness index is FIXABLE and FULLY RECOVERABLE, however it works like a magic circle, they will not accept the remedy because they lack the awareness required for trust and motivation to start the process of awakening. The answer is in the messengers and the soul of the subject, the messengers not only provide the proof of reality, but a path to reality by explaining and decompressing the information into an easily understandable format for the brainwashed slaves. There has to be an uncorrupted part in the soul of the subject, an uncorrupted core part of love in the heart, that sparks together with the information spark seeeded by the messengers starts the awakening process very slowly and primitively but can eventually lead to heights, the start however can require several seeds and persuasions, as well as commitment and motivation of the subject.

Also there are some people that get stuck in various parts of the process, because of various factors, ... but that's a long story and another topic by now.

School administrators are THE stupidest people on the planet. Even Florida, of all places, realizes this.

The death of common sense in schools does not solely rest at the feet of the administrators. It rests at the feet of those who feared for the lives of the kids to such an extent that they demanded great lengths be taken to protect the kids backed by the threat of massive lawsuits if anything went wrong. Without laws dictating the extend of measures needed to 'protect the kids' the buck stopped at the school administration doors ensuring that they would be blamed even if all the measures were based on Common Sense. (Lets be realistic here: I think we can all agree that Common Sense is not very common and is even less common when it involves people's children)

In the face of such demands by various groups (most notably the parents) and the threat of being the blamed party if anything went wrong the only safety that could be offered was in the form of Zero Tolerance.

"See? I did everything possible to prevent this from happening!" Now the blame can be shifted elsewhere, jobs could be kept and lawsuit payouts minimized.

Now they have a better legal defense "We did everything we could in accordance with the laws"

Some of the blame rests with school administrators but I am willing to bet in most cases the Zero Tolerance was just a necessary requirement to CYA from the masses that lack Common Sense

This is a pretty good explanation for how every little facet of life is becoming a 10,000 page piece of legislation. Everything has to be spelled out to prevent blood sucking lawyers.

Is it just me or is a whitelist pretty silly for cases like this?

"Sir, you son is going to be expelled for creating a gun in school."
"Wait, didn't a law pass that prevented this?"
"Sorry sir that covers blocks but your son used Play Dough."

You want Play Dough protected? Bribe the elected official to put it on the list.
