Now, I will admit that I was a fan during his college and pro careers. I'm also an animal lover. PETA went too far, and his sentence is harsh compare to Murderers and some of the criminals that plays on the NFL.

Now, he's got to make amends because he has do. This award might be a little comical. and what about the other teams' selection of the Ed Block Courage Award. why didn't ESPN mention those people.

I guess this is news because he elicit strong feelings from both sides.

When I saw this headline I thought it had to be an Onion article. Then I was like, WTF? Seriously, Eagles? "Mike, you showed great courage facing all those ass-raping felons in prison, and you didn't kill any dogs this year, so here's an award!"

If Mike Vick is the most exemplary player on the Eagles, the rest of these guys must be alcoholic gambling druggies who beat their wives and rape women on the side whilst trafficking Cambodian children into the U.S. for their sweatshop money-laundering side businesses.

He served his time, yes. He deserves a second chance, yes. But to essentially get an award because he did what everyone else does, which is NOT break the law? Give me a fucking break.
