Hey Guys,

I am a VERY DEEP sleeper. If I at any point in time need to sleep less than 6 hours I can't wake up. No normal sound alarm is loud enough to wake me up. I figured that I can go with a vibrating alarm clock. I need an alarm clock that has very strong vibration. It needs to be really strong or otherwise it won't wake me up either. It also needs to function in a way that just vibrated whenever ANY software on a smartphone to which it's connected via bluetooth signals it to vibrate. I need it so I can have a software with settings customised by me. I would like the alarm to be in a form that is attachable to a body part (e.g. bracelet). Lastly I am using Samsung Galaxy S4 and it's on the original Android OS.

I look forward to your suggestions.

Buy a fitness bracelet like a Fitbit.

Sidenote, "Samsung Galaxy S4 and it's on the original Android OS?" I'm assuming you mean to say that it's running stock software, ie., you haven't rooted. Samsung's Touchwiz is about as far from "original Android OS" as you can get with the exception of Amazon. Maybe you have a GPe image loaded on it? That's about as Google-pure as it gets. In any case, it's neither here nor there. Just an interesting statement that [sadly] can have so many meanings.

unfortunately, you are looking at the niche of niche products

I've been looking for something similar too... currently have a jawbone up24 (bluetooth wireless tracker), has vibrate alarm feature, but you can only set up to 4 alarms based on day/time (and up to 30 minute wake-up earlier based on your sleep cycle), must use their app, can't customize it any other way

you might want to try a sunlight alarm, and a alarm with bed-shaker option. none have a cell-phone customization option

Thank you for the replies so far,

I hope something more will come up that is a closer match to my requirements.

If there are no good options for attachable vibrating alarm clocks I can expand the search towards items that vibrate strongly, but don't attach so they are placed on certain places in the bed.

Yes it is running on stock software. Thank you for noting this.

Well, if you are using a rooted Android device you can adjust the vibration intensity and the built in alarm clock has an option to vibrate when it goes off as well as make a sound. That's the only option I can think of. I know of no way to control an external device.
