viable G15 KVM solution?

We have two G15 keyboards we are installing here at work. These keyboards are great for dispatch with their programmable key options. We also have other computers at each position, so we need to be able to switch inputs for each of the computers.

Right now there are KVM switches for the mouse and keyboard. However the G15 keyboards seem to have a lot of problems with KVM switches, so does anyone know if this would work...

Get a USB peripheral switch and have it go to a USB powered hub where the mouse and kb would be connected to.
