Someone I sorta know claims that his new Athlon-64 rig with a Via chipset has integrated video, and it has it's own dedicated video RAM completely separate from the system RAM. Is this true? I just find it extremely hard to believe.
A64 has intergrated memory controller.. so a traditional onboard video card would have to access the main memory via the CPU. It would be easier for the video to have its own dedicated memory...
