Someone I sorta know claims that his new Athlon-64 rig with a Via chipset has integrated video, and it has it's own dedicated video RAM completely separate from the system RAM. Is this true? I just find it extremely hard to believe.

I don't..

A64 has intergrated memory controller.. so a traditional onboard video card would have to access the main memory via the CPU. It would be easier for the video to have its own dedicated memory...

The K8M800 uses shared system memory click me The only board I recall seeing with a video card complete with it's own ram is the ECS K7S7AG
