Ok, against my better judgment I purchased a board based on the K8M800 chipset. Updated the board (ECS) to the latest bios and installed Windows XP SP2.
Everything is going well.
Installed Via Hyperion Pro. No problems.
Then I install the latest K8M800 video drivers from ViaArena. Now, my display properties is showing that I am running dual monitors????. I first tried uninstalling the drivers which took it back to unknown video adapter (with a single monitor). When I reinstalled, same thing, dual monitors. Is this some sort of "Via" thing? or is this something wrong with the driver?
BTW, my mobo only has one monitor port out. I have NO extra cards inside the board, This is a fresh install without any exotic equipment, just a new motherboard, with integrated graphics/LAN/Audio, and one SATA hardrive using windows XP sp2.
