What's the best package to get for AGP and general performance? Also, any benefits and/or problems from installing all the newer drivers, not just AGP? THX. Just getting around to using my new P3V4X and want to set it right.

I just install all the 4 in 1 drivers (4.24 are the latest official drivers),you can try the 4.25 if you want to, it`s best to install the package I`ve yet to have any problems with them btw what OS are you using?

Win 98SE. Also, using Soundblaster Live, Hollywood+ MPEG card, Creative Geforce. I installed 4.25 pkg. The VIADMA tool is confusing. Drives had DMA unchecked, so I checked them. rives are set up correctly in BIOS with proper UDMA. But, the VIAtool is all greyed out with no drives listed to be checked off for DMA. Dont know what that implies. Also, what's the story on proper AGP settings for Geforce DDR and the memory programs being discussed? THX for the reply.

I select turbo option for the Via Agp driver, also I believe Windows98SE as some built in support for Via boards anyway Via 4 in1 drivers will only install what it needs for WIN98 ,for Geforces DDR you should enable 4xAGP in bios, fastwrites are best disabled,AGP aperature should be set to half your total Memory unless you get problems then you can try a smaller setting.
