Via C3 chip

Hi, trying to build a super low power consuming PC... does anyone know a reputable dealer online or in NYC that sells the Via C3 chips? Looked on Via's site, and the dealers there seem to only sell in bulk. Did a few searches, and nothing really comes up.

a search on pricewatch yields some mobo/cpu combos but i didnt see any bare C3's..

Go try to find a motherboard and PGA transmeta chip. You can't "build" a Transmeta system that I know of.

There are no desktop PC motherboard compatible with the Transmeta microprocessors. Transmeta is Mobile only.

The new ones are hardly junk. Not Athlon XP fast, but not junk either.

It's not mobile only, many servers run Transmeta Crusoe processors.
