VIA Bus Master Driver question. Please help!

I just installed a new Epox 8KHA+ motherboard. I am running Windows XP. Every time I boot my computer the hardware wizard pops up saying it wants to install software for:

VIA bus master IDE drivers.

No matter what I do I can't make it find the right location for these drivers. How do I install them? I've tried the 4-in-1 drivers with no luck. Overall the computer is running slow as hell since it's wanted to install this driver.

If you install another mainboard, I STRONGLY suggest formatting and doing a fresh install of XP. This can resolve any driver conflicts, or motherboard issues conflicting with your old configuration. Think about it. If the AGP to PCI bus was on address 00032 (or whatever) and now its on a different one, Windows wont be sure. Strong advice would be format 🙂. Good Luck.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I had done a clean install and format. Also, I was only booting the computer with the video card. I've pretty much given up. Looks like it's back to my Iwill.
