via agp problems

Looking for some help. Trying to get some better fps in my games. Unfortunatly whenever I install the via agp driver my comp hangs at the windows loading screen. It has worked once and only once. I have to use the driver that came with windows in order to load. I can't think of what to do to fix this.. i've done some searching on the net ect. but have come up empty. I'm runnin win xp sp2 and using a k8tpro. Anybody got any suggestions? thanks.

Are you downloading these drivers from Soltek or Via? If you're not having any luck with one, try the other. Via appears to have a unified driver package for all their recent (including yours) chipsets.
