VIA 4in1 drivers in XP

Maybe this is silly to ask....but does winXP still require the VIA 4in1 drivers? For some reason I'm thinking maybe it doesn't...but I can't really justify that thought...so I'm making a fool of myself and asking in a public forum. ;-) And what's the newest version these days? Thanks a lot...

No, XP already contains the 4in1 drivers as a standard part of the package.

The latest 4in1 is 4.33 IIRC, which
is slightly newer that what comes in XP, but so far I haven't heard anything to say it is that much
different

even if you try to install the 4.33s..... the drivers dont actually change from the microsoft ones

oh good, I wasn't looking forward to installing them, anyway. IME, the installers only worked correctly half the time...:-( So are there any other VIA drivers I might need, or am I all set? Thanks for the speedy replies!!!

For now, theres no need. If VIA actually comes out with a 4 in 1 that improves XP performance, then maybe then.
