Via 4in1 drivers good on all via mb's?

i have a p4pb400 fl and looking at thier webpage for drivers they list the 4.40 version as the latest but i have seen reports that there is a 4.42 version out of the 4in1's . are the 4in1's the same for all via chip boards or are some specific for a chip than another? does this question make sense?

if i can use any 4in1's should i use the latest ones or stick with the ones on the via site for my MB?

You can use any VIA 4 in 1 drivers for any VIA chipset boards,yes it makes sense to use the latest version which`s 4.43 from here .

Via released the 4.43 drivers for 4-in-1 on 13 Sept. 2002. You can access them here: VIA Driver
Read the instructions, download to a SAVE file, unzip, then run installation. The VIA program will only install what your system needs, automatically.
