VIA 4in1 driver prob with installing

i have an old abit kt7 RAID board with a 1.3ghz athlon. Reformatted and installed win98SE and first off wanted to install the 4in 1 VIA driver before anything else but i keep getting blue screen of death after it reboots. Im using version 4.29 for win9X Is this a common prob? I dont remember having this issue when i bought the board new and installed win98se way back when so Im kinda stumped as to whats going on here.

Any advice?

Why not try the newwest ser of 4in1's. The 4.29's are old. i think they are up to 4.40 or so....
