VIA 4 in1's screwed my stability!

Installed 2K on KT7A. Then I wanted to get some better performance out of my regular ATA channels so I installed the 4in1's... Then I started getting crashes everywhere. I finally gave up and then reinstalled 2K. Are there known issues with the KT7A and the 4in1 drivers? What eactly do this drivers do? Could it be that my BIOS flash is contributing ot the problem? I used to get 1224 stable in 2K, bow all I can get is 1137 or so. Any tips?

If you are still running Win2000 then you should not of installed the miniport driver, I would uninstall it.

Install version 4.29, it fixes a problem with the Win2k IDE busmaster driver.
