Call me stupid, but I have no idea about what they are. What are they for? Do I need them, if so, why?

Here's what I got:

K7 1.33ghz
ATI Radeon DDR 64mb
PC 2100 256mb ram
IBM 40gig HD
Yamaha 3D sound
Aopen 12x DVD
Ricoh MP7060A

I have the 8K7A also. Everything works fine with the shipping drivers. I have to install the 4n1 only because of the Hollywood+ dvd card. FYI, if you decide to install the 4n1, make sure you DO NOT install the AGP miniport drive came with it.
