Via 4-in-1 or Win2K SP2 ATA 100 IDE Drivers?

I keep hearing two sides to this, one says the win2k drivers are better, others recommend you install the vias. I am about to build an athlon system on an epox 8k7a. I currently plan on installing drivers in this order. sp2, agp port, and via ide if needed. Any suggestions? Any driver related info would be great.
 
The Via busmaster driver was definitely slower than the Windows 98 bm driver. It's probably the same in Win2000. Just install 3/4 of the Via 4-in-1 driver.
