Ok, I'm getting pretty mad now...
I just swapped my Biostar M7VKB board for the ABIT KT7A-R. Everything is running fine, until I want to install the 4-in-1 drivers for the first time. I'm hanging on the DOS screen..."setup is complete, loading windows" (This happened on the old board too.)
I even tried uninstalling my video drivers and my sound drivers, then installing the 4-in-1...same thing. I tried v4.25, v4.28, and even the version which came with the MoBo on a CD, v4.26. The only good thing is that you can run anyone of them to uninstall any version the drivers (can't access CD from Safe Mode).
What I want to avoid is a reinstallation of Win98SE.
I can't seem to find a straight answer anywhere! Please help!
